Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Hardroad, you will work across the entire stack to build features that help our users achieve more. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ship high-quality software that makes a real difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across our React frontend and Node.js backend
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and help mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with product and design to define and refine feature requirements
- Help improve our engineering practices and tooling
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web security best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js, MQTT, Mobx, and Tailwind
- Familiarity with Google Cloud, AWS SES, or other cloud platforms
- Experience building SaaS products
